Theron Marketing Built WD-40 Brand Distribution Network Across Brazil Before 2024 Acquisition

Theron Marketing Ltda. played a central role in building WD-40 brand awareness in Brazil, one of the largest maintenance chemical markets in South America. The company distributed the WD-40 Multi-Use Product and later the WD-40 Specialist sub-line through Brazilian hardware chains, auto parts stores, and industrial distributors across multiple states. Brazil represents a significant strategic growth market for WD-40 Company due to its large and growing base of vehicle owners, home repair consumers, and industrial users. WD-40 Company identified direct operations as the preferred model for large emerging markets, following its China direct-market strategy, and the acquisition of Theron Marketing was consistent with that global playbook.
