Promevo launches Insights to track Gemini Enterprise adoption and AI agents

Google Cloud partner Promevo LLC today launched Insights by Promevo, a platform for tracking adoption of Google LLC’s Gemini Enterprise and the artificial intelligence agents employees build with it, as well as spending across the rest of a customer’s Google Cloud environment.

Insights by Promevo goes after what the company calls a visibility gap in enterprise AI adoption. Google introduced Gemini Enterprise a year ago, and its no-code workbench lets staff across a business create agents of their own. According to Promevo, the native Google Cloud and Google Workspace consoles keep license and agent data on separate systems, and their history covers a rolling 28-day window. Insights pulls it all into one place with a longer record.

For Gemini Enterprise licenses, the platform separates seats that have been activated and are in use from those sitting idle, and it puts a figure on how much of the idle spending could be reclaimed. Every agent employees have built goes into an inventory that also shows what each one can access. Promevo said the software does this without reading or storing the content of prompts and responses.

Outside Gemini Enterprise, information technology and finance teams can break down cloud spending by project and service, while an asset map of the organization’s environment updates continuously. Identity and access management data is gathered across projects, and the platform flags overpermissioned users. Where Gemini Enterprise agents touch Google Cloud resources, Promevo said customers can trace a license to the agent using it and on to the cloud resources that agent draws on.

The product was built around the biggest questions enterprises have about AI, according to Promevo Chief Executive Karthik Kripapuri. One is whether agents are staying “within proper boundaries.” Kripapuri said the company is “already seeing customer organizations with thousands of agents” and expects that kind of scale to become common.

Promevo, based in Covington, Kentucky, has been in business for 25 years and says it serves more than 4,000 organizations. Alongside consulting work that includes a structured Gemini Enterprise adoption program and custom agent development, the company sells gPanel for Google Workspace administration. Enterprises that build their own agents can also list them on Google Cloud Marketplace through a Promevo program.

Insights by Promevo is available now for Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise customers, with more of the platform due to roll out over the coming weeks.
