What to expect during LogicMonitor’s Elevate event: Join theCUBE Oct. 14

Enterprise IT teams are deploying applications faster than ever, but their ability to detect and resolve production problems isn’t always keeping pace.

The growing complexity of hybrid infrastructure, cloud-native applications and interconnected digital services is putting pressure on traditional monitoring approaches. As organizations accelerate software delivery and expand their use of AI, IT operations teams must manage increasingly complex environments while maintaining application performance and business continuity.

“Our AppDev research indicates that 63.7% of organizations deploy applications daily or multiple times per day, while 46.5% report that required deployment speeds have increased by 50–100% over the past three years,” said theCUBE Research’s Paul Nashawaty, practice lead and principal analyst. “Yet 32.3% still take hours to become aware of production issues. These findings highlight the growing disconnect between accelerated software delivery and the ability to maintain real-time operational visibility.”

Closing that gap is a central theme of LogicMonitor’s Elevate event, taking place Oct. 13–14 in Chicago. The conference brings together IT leaders, practitioners and technology experts to discuss Autonomous IT, an approach that uses AI-powered observability, predictive intelligence and automation to help systems identify, diagnose and increasingly resolve problems with less manual intervention.

On Oct. 14, theCUBE will livestream its coverage of Elevate 2026, hosted by Nashawaty. Interviews with LogicMonitor executives and industry experts will focus on how agentic AIOps, full-stack observability and intelligent automation are changing enterprise operations, along with the practical challenges of implementing self-healing infrastructure while maintaining governance and human oversight. (* Disclosure below.)

From observability to intelligent operations

LogicMonitor, an enterprise IT monitoring and observability company, has been expanding its observability strategy beyond infrastructure monitoring toward an AI-centered operating model that connects telemetry, incident investigation and automated remediation.

In May, the company announced its Autonomous IT Innovation Program, a private preview initiative designed to validate new workflows with selected customers. The program focuses on guided incident investigation, user-in-the-loop response, remediation and governance controls intended to help organizations move beyond traditional dashboards and alerts.

“The future of IT operations is not dashboard-centric. It is AI-centric,” said Garth Fort, LogicMonitor’s chief product and technology officer. “This is our commitment to redesigning how teams work around AI-native workflows so they can act earlier, operate more intelligently, and ultimately automate more of the work required to keep modern digital businesses running.”

Central to this strategy is Edwin AI, LogicMonitor’s agentic AIOps technology, which uses operational data to correlate events, prioritize incidents and assist with root-cause analysis. The company’s broader LM Envision platform provides visibility across hybrid infrastructure and cloud environments, supplying the telemetry needed to support AI-driven operational decisions.

The company has also expanded its reach through its acquisition of Catchpoint, announced in December 2025. By adding internet performance and digital experience monitoring to its infrastructure observability capabilities, LogicMonitor aims to connect internal system health with the performance that customers and employees actually experience.

The integration addresses a persistent challenge for IT teams: determining whether an application problem originates in the software itself, the underlying infrastructure or external dependencies beyond an organization’s direct control. In a July update, LogicMonitor detailed work to connect Catchpoint alert data with Edwin AI for incident correlation across these environments.

“For LogicMonitor Elevate, the opportunity is to bridge that gap by connecting full-stack observability with actionable AppDev insights and intelligent operations,” Nashawaty said. “By helping development and operations teams correlate telemetry, identify root causes and automate responses, observability can become an enabler of faster releases, greater application resilience and more efficient IT operations.”

 The path toward self-healing infrastructure

The next challenge for Autonomous IT is moving beyond AI-assisted incident detection and diagnosis toward systems capable of taking corrective action.

Traditional IT operations typically depend on engineers to interpret alerts, investigate dependencies and execute recovery procedures. Agentic AIOps introduces the possibility of automating portions of that process, allowing systems to correlate signals, recommend corrective steps and execute approved remediation workflows.

LogicMonitor is developing this approach through Edwin AI and its broader automation capabilities. The company has also collaborated with IBM and Red Hat on integrating Edwin AI with IBM watsonx and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform to support more automated data center operations.

However, expanding automation introduces operational questions about accountability, permissions and the consequences of incorrect decisions. An automated response that resolves one incident could disrupt another critical service if the system lacks sufficient context or appropriate safeguards.

“This is not about adding another AI assistant to existing workflows,” said Karthik SJ, LogicMonitor’s chief AI officer. “We are fundamentally redesigning how enterprise teams work — moving from systems where humans manually gather and interpret information toward systems where AI empowers teams to understand, decide and act directly in the flow of work.”

These considerations are particularly important as IT organizations connect observability platforms with service management systems, automation tools and production infrastructure. Effective implementation requires reliable telemetry, clear policies governing automated actions and mechanisms for human intervention when systems encounter unexpected conditions.

Nashawaty sees the ability to translate operational intelligence into action as a key measure of success: “The strategic differentiator will be how effectively platforms turn operational data into timely decisions across the software lifecycle,” he said.

At Elevate 2026, theCUBE’s conversations will address how far enterprises can realistically advance toward closed-loop automation, what measurable benefits customers are achieving and where human expertise remains essential. The discussions will also consider how unified visibility and agentic AI can help IT organizations improve resilience without introducing additional operational risk.
