Scanntech, a Montevideo, Uruguay-based provider of a retail intelligence, data analytics, and marketing services platform, raised $180M in Series F financing.
The company intends to use the funds to support continued expansion, advance its analytics and AI capabilities, broaden its product suite, and enter new markets and consumer categories across Latin America.
Led by CEO Raúl Polakof, Scanntech provides a retail intelligence platform that turns granular, ticket-level point-of-sale data into actionable market intelligence for retailers, consumer goods companies, and distributors. The solution connects directly to point-of-sale systems to capture actual transaction data across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and Uruguay, helping businesses anticipate shifts in demand, optimize pricing, promotions, and assortment, and improve supply chain execution.
They cover more than 80% of retail sell-out in their operating markets and work with over 600 manufacturers.
