ABCL635 is an investigational first-in-class anti-NK3R antibody for non-hormonal treatment of moderate-to-severe menopausal vasomotor symptoms.
ABCL635 specifically targets NK3R, a clinically validated complex membrane protein on KNDy neurons in the infundibular nucleus of the hypothalamus that helps regulate body temperature. It is the first AbCellera-led program generated using the company's GPCR and ion channel technologies and is in a Phase 1/2 trial of subcutaneous doses evaluating safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and vasomotor symptom frequency and severity.
The intended profile combines efficacy comparable to small molecules with differentiated safety without liver-enzyme monitoring, delivered as a once-monthly subcutaneous self-injection. The program is an internal AbCellera pipeline candidate, and positive top-line Phase 2 results were reported in August 2026 after a single 600 mg dose.
