Product Overview

Adfin combines proprietary payment rails with agentic AI workflows to automate invoice management, payment chasing, and cashflow tasks for SMEs and professional services firms.
The platform supports multi-channel payment requests via email, WhatsApp, and SMS, and accepts payments through direct debit, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and open banking. Adfin Autopilot handles intelligent credit control, automated reminders, and AI-personalized messages while keeping finance teams in control with trackable, auditable workflows. Customers achieve roughly 9% late-payment rates, nearly seven times better than the UK SME average.

Market Outlook

The UK SME late-payment market is systemic: approximately 63% of invoices sent by UK SMEs are paid late. Adfin targets small and mid-sized businesses including sole traders, accountants, lawyers, tradespeople, and care providers that lack dedicated administrative staff and remain stuck with manual bank transfers, card payments taken over the phone, and high fees.
The company plans to expand from accounts-receivable automation into end-to-end cashflow management, using its Series A capital to hire more engineers and prepare for international expansion beyond the UK.

Pricing Strategy

Adfin operates a transaction-based revenue model with no monthly fees or minimums. It charges a flat percentage per successful transaction (e.g., 1% per payment on the seed product, and 20p + 1.0% for standard collections on newer offerings), regardless of payment method.
The platform offers invoice distribution, reminders, workflows, reconciliation, and bundled payment collection together as one integrated solution, aligning fees with customer success.
