Our state-of-the-art glasshouse is an example of our plans to invest in innovative structures and systems that support the production of high-quality British fo
“Dyson Farming is the first company in the UK to use this technology commercially, and we will continue to advance and refine its capabilities.”
The stunning locations of our farms and estates have plenty to offer.
Over the last few years we have established an extensive owl box scheme across our farms in Lincolnshire. For three years, we have been collecting data on the successes and failures of the boxes and keeping track of where the locations work best.
At Dyson Farming, we have developed and implemented our own approach to carbon management which is now an integral part of our every-day farming activities and fundamental to how we monitor and measure performance. Crucially, this has taught us that by challenging ourselves to become better farmers, we can continue to have a positive impact on our carbon footprint.
We are excited to announce that Dyson Farming has been granted permission to construct a state of the art 6ha glasshouse with associated infrastructure at our farm in Carrington. This is a big step toward achieving our ambition for a high output, lower input farming model with technology and data at the core.
Much has been written about the difficulties of the 2020 harvest and no doubt more will be penned going forward as the reality of the yields and costs hit profit and loss accounts in the next 12 months.

We responsibly manage, monitor and nurture the natural environment, biodiversity and resources that surround Dyson Farming land.
At Dyson Farming, we grow both food crops and energy crops. Crops such as maize, rye, barley allows us to implement a sustainable crop rotation, with diversity of cropping improving soil health, reducing weed burden and improving the utilisation of fixed costs. Applications of the by-product of anaerobic digestion back to the land increases its fertility and organic matter.
Dyson Farming work closely with Dyson Engineers, using new technologies and ingenuity to grow produce responsibly and at scale, while also nurturing the natural environment and biodiversity.
