Town Planning & Access is an advisory practice rather than a software vendor. Its town planning team prepares development applications, statements of environmental effects, section 4.55 modification reports, planning proposals and Land and Environment Court representations for architects, developers, landowners and homeowners.
Alongside that core it provides disability-access consulting and audits, BASIX and NatHERS certification with Section J reports, and social planning assessments. It also guides clients through lodging applications and post-consent certificates on the New South Wales Planning Portal, and operates free accessibility calculators for designers.

Two regulatory strands support its specialist lines: disability-access obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and the National Construction Code, and energy and water efficiency requirements delivered through BASIX, NatHERS and Section J assessments.
