Investigational TLR7/8 dual agonist in registrational Phase 2/3 trials for advanced melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer.
EIK1001 is Eikon Therapeutics' lead clinical program, a systemically administered co-agonist of toll-like receptors 7 and 8. The candidate is in the adaptive Phase 2/3 TeLuRide-006 trial combined with pembrolizumab as first-line therapy in advanced melanoma and the registrational Phase 2/3 TeLuRide-008 trial with pembrolizumab and histology-appropriate chemotherapy in stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer.
The program originates in TLR7/8 agonist immune modulators whose global rights Eikon acquired from Seven and Eight Biotherapeutics in 2023, compounds that had been tested in more than 150 patients with advanced refractory solid tumors. EIK1001 has shown single-agent efficacy and promising combination activity with anti-PD-(L)1 agents across tumor types.
