Faraday Future’s proxy filing discloses that it paid about $7.5 million in 2025 to FF Global Partners, an affiliate of founder Jia Yueting. The payments include monthly consulting fees, a $2 million bonus, and $1.7 million in loan repayments; the filing does not explain the remaining $2.6 million. Faraday Future reports just four vehicle deliveries and nearly $400 million in losses for the year as it shifts toward cheaper imported vans and robots.
The SEC closes its nearly four-year investigation into Faraday Future without taking enforcement action against the company or its executives. The probe examined whether the EV startup made false or misleading statements around its 2021 SPAC merger and whether it faked sales of its first vehicles in 2023. SEC staff recommended enforcement last year and sent Wells Notices to the company and executives, including founder Jia Yueting.
