Firefly's Launch portfolio is anchored by Alpha, a flight-proven small-lift vehicle in the roughly 1,000-kilogram-to-orbit class for dedicated and rideshare small-satellite missions, and extends to the larger Eclipse derivative and a responsive-space launch service. The launch line is booked for government and commercial customers including the U.S. Space Force and NASA.
Its Spacecraft portfolio centers on Blue Ghost, the commercial lunar lander that has delivered and operated payloads on the Moon under NASA CLPS, and the Elytra family of in-space orbiters that fold in Ocula imaging, communications, and spacecraft-autonomy capabilities. Together these offerings cover payload-to-orbit delivery, lunar surface operations, and on-orbit servicing for government and commercial satellite operators.
Demand for responsive, dedicated small-lift launch and for in-space transportation is expanding as satellite operators and national-security users prioritize schedule certainty and tactical access to orbit. Firefly positions its Alpha vehicle and responsive-space service to address this growing market for rapid, dedicated launch that rideshare models cannot guarantee.
The lunar economy is a second growth vector, anchored by NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program and commercial interest in surface delivery and operations, where Firefly's Blue Ghost lander is already operational. On-orbit servicing and hosted-payload demand, reinforced by the Spaceflight acquisition, extends the company's reach into the full satellite lifecycle beyond launch.
Firefly's core advantage is vertical integration, designing and manufacturing its own engines, composite structures, avionics, and software in-house rather than procuring them as subsystems. That internal control shortens the supply chain and underpins the responsive-space launch cadence the company markets to U.S. national-security and commercial customers.
Owning both launch vehicles and lunar or on-orbit spacecraft in a single portfolio is uncommon at Firefly's scale and was deepened by the Spaceflight Inc. acquisition, which added payload brokerage and processing capacity. Its demonstrated Blue Ghost lunar landing under NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program gives Firefly a commercial lunar-delivery record that most peers have not yet achieved.
