At Hip Chicks do Wine we pride ourselves on sourcing premium grapes from vineyards located throughout Oregon and Washington. We are a small winery producing less than 5000 cases of wine a year. While most of Oregon focuses on Pinot Noir (don't get me wrong that's a tasty wine) we choose to make a wider variety of wines: Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvingon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Malbec, Muscat and our ever popular Belly Button Wine. Established in 1999 owners and winemakers Laurie Lewis and Renee Neely strive to make fun wine and wine fun.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays we are open by appointment. Please call at least 48 hours in advance. Established in 1999. Owners and winemakers Laurie Lewis and Renee Neely were enamored with the Oregon wine industry. Having been amateur winemakers at home they enrolled in classes at Chemeketa Community College and got jobs at other Oregon wineries. In 1999 they produced 500 cases of wine--quickly selling out within a year of release. Hip Chicks do Wine has grown each year and now roughly produces 4000-5000 cases of wine a year. They chose to have a winery in industrial SE Portland in an attempt to bring a little 'wine country' to the city. You can visit their winery, by car, bike or bus 17.
