Howey Politics Indiana was the political news website of longtime Hoosier journalist Brian Howey, launched in 1994 as a weekly print publication covering Indiana politics and state government. The publication built a subscriber base around its reporting on the Indiana Statehouse and Howey's syndicated newspaper column, which continued to run in more than 30 newspapers and TV station websites across the state.
Howey announced the sale of the publication to State Affairs in September 2022, with the transaction completed on October 19, 2022. Howey Politics Indiana moved onto the State Affairs website, and its standalone howeypolitics.com site later went dark, folding the brand into the acquirer's platform.
