Iridium Certus is Iridium's secure satellite communications service for government and defense users.
Iridium Certus is a satellite communications service delivered over Iridium's crosslinked low Earth orbit constellation, sold to U.S. government, defense, intelligence, and federal customers through dedicated government plans with Type 1-certified security options and a Space Force Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services contract.
It competes for the same government and defense secure-connectivity budget as SpaceX's Starshield. Iridium's constellation provides global pole-to-pole coverage.
