Remote digital walk test letting clinical trial participants perform gait and mobility assessments on an iPhone.
Koneksa's Timed Walk Assessment lets clinical trial participants complete standardized walking tests remotely using an iPhone and the Koneksa Mobile App. It is configured to replicate the Six-Minute Walk Test, Two-Minute Walk Test, and 20-Second Walk Test, capturing detailed gait and balance metrics through real-time sensor data, with configurable test path and duration covering straight and U-turn routes.
The assessment records step count, gait speed, stride variability, and turn metrics, supports pulse oximetry integration, and guides participants with audio cues and animated instructions. Collected data is anonymized with SDTM export support, and the measure runs integrated into Koneksa's end-to-end trial platform alongside other digital assessments including tremor, finger tap, spirometry, sleep, and speech measures.
