Overview

MMT-205 is Memento Medicines' lead development program, a potential best-in-class bispecific antibody that simultaneously activates Tie2 signaling and inhibits VEGF. The therapy is in development for neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) and diabetic macular edema (DME), two leading causes of vision loss.

Licensed from MabTics Co., Ltd. and Curacle Co., Ltd., MMT-205 was previously known as MT-103. Preclinical studies indicate it produces greater Tie2 activation and improved retinal vasculature integrity compared to current anti-VEGF monotherapies. Memento Medicines plans to use proceeds from its $93 million Series A financing to advance MMT-205 through IND-enabling studies and into clinical trials in 2027.
