Merian Global Investors was a London-based active asset management firm created from the management buyout of Old Mutual Global Investors' single-strategy investment capabilities, backed by private equity firm TA Associates. The firm offered specialized investment management across global equities, fixed income, and alternative strategies.
In July 2020, Merian Global Investors was acquired by Jupiter Fund Management for £370 million. Following completion of the transaction, Merian's investment teams and fund strategies were integrated into Jupiter and the Merian brand was phased out.
