Chris has 10+ years of biotech investment and industry combined experience. He received a PhD in Biochemistry from SUNY Stony Brook and a BS in Chemistry from Fudan University. He also received his MBA in Finance and Management from NYU Stern School of Business.
Dr. Chen has over 20 years of healthcare investment experience. She held investment roles at Cormorant Asset Management and Putnam Investments, including managing private and public biotech investments and the Putnam Global Health Care Fund.
Dr. Xin has over 20 years' experience developing oncology therapies, including small molecules, antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and immunotherapies. He led clinical programs at Turning Point Therapeutics and held oncology roles at Pfizer and Genentech/Roche.
Dr. Jia founded Octagon Capital and has served as its chief investment officer since 2019. He previously held roles at Hillhouse Capital Management, BVF Partners, McKinsey's New York office, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
