Nimbio Cellular Access Control System pairs a $299 cellular retrofit controller with iOS, Android, and CarPlay apps and a cloud portal, wiring in parallel to a property's existing gate operator, buzzer, or lock so legacy clickers keep working. A pre-installed multi-carrier SIM handles connectivity at the gate, removing the need for local Wi-Fi or a landline, and the platform bills residential properties by the home rather than by the user.
Beyond opening gates and doors from a phone, the system adds a GuestView community directory, number-verified delivery access, family and doorbell keys, recurring and hold-open scheduling, and gate-status monitoring. A REST API and SDK extend the platform for integrators and enterprise fleets, and Nimbio reports processing more than 620,000 gate openings each month across multifamily communities, commercial sites, HOAs, and single-family estates.
