Nortis ParVivo Platform is an organ-on-chip system for preclinical drug toxicity screening.
The ParVivo Platform is Nortis's plug-and-play organ-on-chip technology that grows human tissue cells in patented microfluidic chips with a perfusion system to recreate physiologically relevant tissue microenvironments. It supports up to 768 simultaneous high-content assays per standard cell incubator, letting researchers test compounds quickly and at scale.
Pharmaceutical and biotech researchers use the platform for preclinical drug development to detect organ toxicity earlier than animal models or conventional 2D cultures. The system was recognized with a 2021 R&D 100 Award and is built around Nortis's in vitro 3D organ-on-chip technology.
