cytoDRiVE regulates therapeutic protein activity through drug-responsive domains in engineered cells.
cytoDRiVE is Obsidian Therapeutics' protein regulation platform for engineered cell therapies. Drug-responsive domains are attached to selected proteins, making their abundance responsive to an administered small-molecule drug. Without that drug, the fusion protein is unstable and degraded; administration stabilizes it, supporting reversible, dose-dependent control.
Obsidian applies the platform to membrane-bound cytokines and other therapeutic proteins, including those used in its investigational tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte programs. Its discovery toolkit also supports membrane, intracellular, secreted, and genome-editing proteins. The company offers opportunities to explore platform partnerships outside its own therapy pipeline, making the technology distinct from individual clinical candidates.
