Orbital Insight

Orbital Insight provides geospatial analytics that convert satellite imagery, aerial imagery, and phone geolocation data into measurable observations about activity on the ground. Its TerraScope platform lets analysts query what type of activity is occurring, where, and when, and then monitor facilities, supply chains, and physical assets over time. Customers include defense and intelligence agencies, commodity and financial analysts, and enterprises tracking supply chains and energy infrastructure.

The company was acquired by space data firm Privateer in May 2024 and now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary. Orbital Insight continues to serve customers under its own brand, including a commercial geospatial data contract awarded by the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, while its analytics capabilities are integrated with Privateer's data fusion platform.
