The Orby platform was an enterprise automation product built around AI agents rather than scripted rules. Orby said its agents observed how employees performed multi-step work inside existing business applications, learned the process, and then executed it automatically, adapting when an application's interface changed. The company marketed the approach under the term Generative Process Automation.
The platform's core was Orby's proprietary Large Action Model, which the company branded actio and said generated the actions needed to complete a task in a target application. Orby positioned the product for enterprise finance, shared-services and technology teams, and listed Accenture, Google, Databricks, Samsara and JLL Technologies among its customers and partners. The offering was retired as an independent product after Uniphore acquired Orby AI in 2025.
