He leads investments in Korea and Japan, drawing on 10 years of business experience in Japan and experience in securities, startups, and strategy consulting.
He held corporate and business strategy roles at MISUMI China and DeepBlue after consulting for Japanese and Chinese companies and government agencies. He is Director of DANNY Pro. (Itaya Workshop) and joined PKSHA Algorithm Fund in 2022.
He spent about 12 years at CyberAgent Ventures (now CyberAgent Capital), supported startups, and launched the firm’s Korea investment business, spending about four years in Seoul. He focuses on hybrid businesses in Japan and overseas.
He worked at DI Shanghai on consulting for Japanese companies and venture development for Chinese companies, focusing on smart manufacturing, internet, mobile, content, and consumer goods. He joined PKSHA Algorithm Fund in 2019.
He has lived in Shanghai since 2011 and visited every province in China. He is CEO of DANNY Pro. (Itaya Workshop), a specially appointed lecturer at Peking University, and an adjunct professor at Shanghai International Studies University.
