NSW’s revamped MVP Ventures program awards $1 million to 22 startups developing technologies including residential thermal storage systems, medical devices and software platforms. The Minns government reshaped the program into a more competitive, targeted initiative, offering local startups grants of up to $75,000 to advance prototypes.
Puralink builds and commercialises the “ferret,” a 40-centimetre autonomous robot that crawls into underground pipes. Harrison Crowe-Maxwell enlisted Long Tran and Shyeon Delnawaz to develop it after a pipe burst on his street in 2019, and the company has secured more than $2 million in capital.
