Tobe Energy cuts green hydrogen production costs by over 50% with a breakthrough electrolysis technology, making hydrogen a scalable, zero-emission fuel source
Tobe Energy builds membrane-free electrolyzers that split water into hydrogen using a pulsed power architecture instead of the membranes and rare-earth catalysts conventional systems rely on. Industrial hydrogen buyers in fertilizer, fuel, chemicals, and steel can place its modular skids at their own sites and produce hydrogen where it is used.
Unlike PEM and alkaline electrolyzers, Tobe's cells run near ambient temperature and use commodity stainless steel and power electronics rather than caustic electrolyte, which removes much of the cooling and balance-of-plant equipment. That simpler architecture lets industrial sites make hydrogen on demand from renewable electricity, serving the fertilizer, fuel, and steel operations that direct electrification cannot reach.
