Overview

Travis CI builds, tests, and deploys software from a single .travis.yml file, with preconfigured environments for more than 30 programming languages and connections to more than 40 deployment providers. Pipelines run on every commit and pull request, and build matrices plus parallel jobs test a codebase across operating systems, runtimes, and architectures.

The hosted service runs on clean virtual machines and isolated containers with scoped secrets, and connects GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Perforce repositories to notification and deployment tooling. A self-hosted Server edition offers the same pipelines on on-premise or private-cloud infrastructure for enterprises with stricter control requirements.
