Maven Robotics emerges from stealth with $100 million in funding and plans to build 250 third-generation warehouse robots. Its wheeled robots use two arms to handle mixed palletizing, and the company says up to eight robots are already working 16 hours a day with at least 99% uptime. Backed by RoboStrategy, LocalGlobe, Vine Ventures, and XTX Markets Ventures, Maven plans to expand task by task into materials handling and fabrication.
