ZenCrate is a smart anxiety-relief dog crate from Plug and Play Robotics.
ZenCrate is a smart anxiety-relief dog crate from Plug and Play Robotics.
Marketed as "the first smart dog den," the ZenCrate (zendogcrate.com, $679.99) is a self-contained crate that detects when a dog enters via a proximity sensor and responds with motion-activated calming music, an automatic fan, and battery backup for operation during power outages. An optional HD WiFi camera and mobile app let owners monitor the dog remotely.
The product competes directly with connected and premium crate offerings for owners of anxious or home-alone dogs: it addresses the same separation- and noise-anxiety use case that Interplay's PlayTach crate attachment targets, but delivers it as an integrated smart crate rather than an add-on to an existing crate. Made in the USA.
