Churchill’s Lender Finance business is a senior secured lending platform offering debt solutions to originators and owners of residential-backed mortgages. It launched in July 2020.

Derrick Land is a Managing Partner of Churchill. Before joining Churchill, he worked at Man Global Private Markets, where he led its U.S. real asset investment and asset management businesses.

Karl Castedo joined Churchill in 2021 and is a Vice President of Asset Management, responsible for onboarding and managing active loans in Churchill’s Whole Loan portfolio, reporting, loan servicing, and loss mitigation. Karl Castedo previously worked at AmeriSave Mortgage Corp., where Karl Castedo led junior underwriters.

Michael Pizzitola joined Churchill in 2019 and is a Principal responsible for investments and operations, including capital markets, capital raising, joint venture sourcing and execution, originations, and asset management. Before joining Churchill, Michael Pizzitola worked in investment banking at Barclays and Bank of America Merrill.

Sorabh Maheshwari co-founded Churchill in 2014 and is a Managing Partner. Before founding Churchill, Sorabh Maheshwari was a principal at Onex Real Estate, where Sorabh Maheshwari managed the Onex Real Estate High Yield Debt Fund and other real estate credit investments.

Churchill Real Estate provides capital solutions to the U.S. residential real estate sector. Founded in 2014, it is headquartered in New York City and Charlotte, North Carolina, and has an office in Tokyo, Japan.
