E-commerce logistics company Stord raises $250 million at a $3 billion valuation, doubling its valuation from a year earlier. Strike Capital leads the round, with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Franklin Templeton, Baillie Gifford, G Squared, and Bond. Stord operates physical warehouses and inventory management software for e-commerce brands, and recently added an AI interface to its software.
Plaid lets employees sell some shares at an $8 billion valuation, up 31% from its $6.1 billion valuation in an April 2025 funding round. The 13-year-old financial connectivity company’s share sale gives employees liquidity, including to help cover taxes tied to converting expiring restricted stock units. The new valuation remains 40% below Plaid’s $13.4 billion peak in 2021, while employee share sales can ease pressure on management to pursue an IPO before the company is ready.
