Zed raises $10 million in a Series A to develop its collaborative code editor, led by Redpoint Ventures with participation from Root Ventures, Matchstick Ventures, V1.VC and angel investors including Figma’s Dylan Field and GitHub’s Tom Preston Werner. Founded by former Atom contributors Nathan Sobo, Antonio Scandurra and Max Brunsfeld, Zed lets developers edit teammates’ projects, navigate code together and share screens. The seven-person startup is pre-revenue and launches in beta.
