A Utrecht University student research project examines how inclusive business entrepreneurs manage financial sustainability and social and environmental impact tensions while scaling businesses through Orange Corners programmes in Angola, South Africa and Mozambique.
The page discusses whether entrepreneurship support programmes in low- and middle-income countries should focus on startups or innovative SMEs and argues that the distinction is crucial.
Orange Corners is managed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency at the request of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Team works closely together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and local partners in each programme country.
Orange Corners is an initiative of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs that provides young entrepreneurs across Africa, Asia and the Middle East with training, mentorship, networks, funding and facilities to start and scale their businesses.
