Diana joined Plaisance in 2023 as principal – director of operations. She earned chemistry degrees from The College of William & Mary and The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and researched PAC-1, a cancer drug in clinical trials.
Dr. Ruitu Lyu is a bioinformatician and molecular biologist with over 12 years of life sciences and biomedicine experience. He earned a Ph.D. at Fudan University's Institutes of Biomedical Sciences, researching epigenetic regulation of tumorigenesis.
Lap Shun Hui, also known as John Hui, is a Chinese American tech entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of PC manufacturing companies Everex and eMachines. He is also the current owner of LCD manufacturer InFocus and the former owner of PC manufacturer Packard Bell.
Ms. Sophie (Yunxi) Li joined Plaisance in September 2023 and works on investment strategy, target identification, due diligence, financial modeling and deal execution. She also engages investors and stakeholders and advises portfolio and incubating companies.
