AMP Robotics attracts investment from Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund
AMP Robotics extends its Series C funding to $99 million with an investment from Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund, bringing the company’s total capital raised to about $178 million. The Denver-based startup builds AI-powered robotic systems that sort recyclable materials; CEO Matanya Horowitz says the funding supports scaling operations, retrofitting existing recycling infrastructure, and expanding new infrastructure. AMP says its fleet of about 275 robots operates at more than 100 centers.
