Efficient Computer closes a $97 million funding round led by TQ Ventures, bringing its total funding to $650 million. The startup is developing data-flow chips that it says can use up to 100 times less energy than x86 chips while retaining programmability. Its first product, the Electron E1, targets battery-powered robots and autonomous drones, and the new funding will support production scale-up and increased customer shipments.
Nomadic raises $8.4 million in seed funding to organize video collected by autonomous vehicles, robots, and construction equipment. Its platform uses vision-language models to turn footage into searchable datasets, surface rare events, and feed training pipelines. Customers include Zoox, Mitsubishi Electric, Natix Network, and Zendar; TQ Ventures leads the round, with participation from Pear VC and Jeff Dean.
Railway raises a $100 million Series B led by TQ Ventures to advance its cloud infrastructure platform. FPV Ventures, Redpoint, and Unusual Ventures also participate in the round. The company builds its networking, compute, storage, orchestration software, and hardware to provide hands-off hosting for developers. Railway plans to expand its global data center footprint, grow its team, and build tools for developers and AI systems.
