Evos raises $9 million in pre-seed funding to develop autonomous AI operators that learn operational tasks from experienced employees. Its Workhorse platform initially places agents behind a human approval gate, using reviewed decisions to train them before they take on tasks autonomously. Freight operator MyFreightWorld uses Evos to audit carrier invoices; in its first two months, the agents make more than 3,500 decisions with 97% accuracy.

Mirai, founded by Reface co-founder Dima Shvets and Prisma co-founder Alexey Moiseenkov, is building software to improve AI model inference on phones and laptops. Its Rust-based inference engine for Apple Silicon aims to increase generation speed by up to 37% without changing model weights, and a planned SDK will let developers integrate the runtime into apps. CEO Grant Lee says the startup has $100 million in profitable annual recurring revenue and 70 million users.
