Invention Science Fund brings together leading inventors, technologists, and domain experts in Invention Sessions to identify commercially viable ideas, then builds companies around breakthrough technologies such as metamaterials. Its spinouts include Kymeta, Evolv, Echodyne, Pivotal Commware, Modern Electron, and TerraPower.
Through the ISF Incubator, the fund pairs inventions with experienced entrepreneurs, providing intellectual property, hands-on mentorship, initial working capital, and access to the IV Lab. It targets major global challenges in energy, communications, and security, and has created more than 15 new companies.
