The Computer Vision Center is a non-profit research centre with independent legal status, established in 1995 by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Its activity covers computer-vision research, technology transfer to industry and the training of researchers, and it is accredited as a CERCA centre and a TECNIO unit.
Alongside its research programme the centre maintains open-source autonomy software, most notably the CARLA driving simulator, which it co-hosts with the Embodied AI Foundation.
