University center that trains students to launch ventures and apply entrepreneurial thinking.
The center is housed in the Heider College of Business but is open to every school and college at Creighton, pairing classroom work with applied venture programs. Official pages describe coursework, research, applied learning, and activities as the four impact areas.
Director Nathan Preheim has said the goal is to add entrepreneurial training onto existing majors rather than treat entrepreneurship as a standalone path. That design lets nursing, arts, journalism, and pre-med students use the same venture programs.

The Diabetes Care Foundation gift is intended to add staff positions, curriculum, programming, and seed funding for student and faculty entrepreneurs. Official coverage also lists support for faculty commercialization and university intellectual property.
The foundation previously funded Creighton work on the Cura Project, which studied how financial literacy, disease management, and patient education intersect for diabetes patients. The Greisch gift extends that relationship from healthcare education into campus-wide venture support.

The Greisch Center offers an entrepreneurship minor open to every major, intrapreneurship courses, applied certificates, and microcredentials. Applied programs include Flight School, a team-matching program called Flight Crew, a pop-up cart for testing ideas, and a student-managed First Flight Fund.
Campus activities include Founder Fridays, a one-day 10-Hour Startup sprint, monthly innovation challenges, and JayTank, the student-run pitch competition. The student Entrepreneurship Club hosts weekly meetings and is the home of several of those events.
