Horn Entrepreneurship is the University of Delaware's center for experiential entrepreneurship, offering mentoring, funding opportunities, competitions, collaborative workspace, and hands-on programs to UD students, alumni, faculty, researchers, and community members. It is the cornerstone of the Neil Book School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which houses UD's academic entrepreneurship programs, including the entrepreneurship major and the Delaware Innovation Fellows.
Its venture programs include the Blue Hen Venture Acceleration Lab and Summer Founders, an 11-week pre-accelerator that gives student and recent-graduate teams equity-free stipends and venture-specific mentorship. Horn also supports research commercialization, runs youth and educator programs, and operates the Venture Development Center workspace.
