American Esoteric Laboratories

American Esoteric Laboratories (AEL), originally known as Memphis Pathology Laboratory (MPL), was founded over fifty years ago with a commitment to providing high-quality medical laboratory services. AEL's core mission is to support the medical community through state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and laboratory services. The company offers a comprehensive range of testing services, including COVID-19 testing and serology antibody testing, catering to physician offices, hospitals, and various industries. AEL is the largest independent laboratory network in Tennessee and the Mid-South, emphasizing community-based healthcare solutions.

Notable affiliations include Sonic Healthcare USA, under which AEL operates as part of a broader network of diagnostic laboratories. Key achievements for AEL include maintaining a reputation for quality service over decades and expanding its service offerings to meet emerging healthcare needs, such as during the COVID-19 pandemic. The overall impact of AEL lies in its ability to provide reliable and timely diagnostic information, thereby enhancing patient care and supporting healthcare providers across the region.
