World Labs, Fei-Fei Li’s AI startup, debuts Atlas, a multimodal world model that generates navigable 3D environments from a single image. It accepts camera trajectories and geometry as inputs, produces up to a minute of 1440p video and 3D assets, and targets uses including visual effects, game design and robotics simulation. World Labs says Atlas performs well in camera-path and sparse-input geometry evaluations; it is in early access for select enterprises, with general release timing undisclosed.
