Dr. David Mauro is Chief Medical Officer at Ankyra Therapeutics and has over 20 years of experience in oncology drug development. He guided development stages for more than 25 Investigational New Drug candidates over the past decade.
Dr. Gregory Zarbis-Papastoitsis is Ankyra’s Chief Process and Manufacturing Officer, responsible for CMC and related regulatory activities. At Compass Therapeutics, he oversaw CMC activities for a CD137 agonist in Phase 1.
Dr. Howard L. Kaufman has been President and Chief Executive Officer since March 2022 and joined the company as Chief Medical Officer in 2021. He led the phase III trial of Talimogene laherparepvec (T-VEC), described as the first oncolytic virus.
Dr. Sailaja Battula is Ankyra’s Chief Scientific Officer, responsible for its scientific research and development efforts. At Immuneering Corporation, she led drug discovery projects and served as a Director, IO.
Mr. Gorgol has over 40 years of financial experience, including nearly 25 years in life sciences and biotechnology. At Replimune, Mr. Gorgol served as chief accounting officer before joining Ankyra.
