Antero Midstream owns and operates an integrated system of gathering pipelines, compressor stations, and processing and fractionation plants in West Virginia, primarily serving Antero Resources. Its network of low- and high-pressure gathering pipelines and compressor stations delivers gas to the Sherwood and Smithburg processing complex, the largest natural gas processing complex in North America.
The service also includes independent fresh water handling systems with pipeline and storage facilities that support completion activities in the Marcellus Shale, recycling well flowback and produced water in an integrated closed-loop system that reduces truck traffic on local roads.
