Shanghai Aohua Photoelectricity Endoscope Co., Ltd. received NMPA approval in June 2025 for its AQ-400 series electronic endoscope image processor, described as the first domestically produced 3D ultra-high-definition flexible endoscope platform. In December 2025, Aohua announced that its ERCP surgical robot system completed its first batch of human scientific research clinical trials at Nanjing Gulou Hospital. The system is expected to launch in 2027–2028 and is described as the world’s first robot used for human experiments.
Aohua Endoscopy obtains domestic certification for its AQ-400 endoscopy system. The system integrates EDOF imaging technology and will be equipped with a 3D lens to meet clinical needs, marking progress in domestic 3D UHD endoscopy.
