Trinity Large Thinking is Arcee AI's open-source reasoning model for long-horizon agents and tool use.
Trinity Large Thinking is an open-source reasoning model released by Arcee AI on April 1, 2026, under an Apache 2.0 license. Built as a sparse mixture-of-experts architecture with 398 billion total parameters and roughly 13 billion active per token, it offers a 512K-token context window and generates explicit chain-of-thought reasoning before responding. It was pretrained on 17 trillion tokens with compute partner Prime Intellect and data partner Datology.
The model targets long-horizon agents and multi-turn tool calling, scoring 96.3% on AIME25, 98.2% on LiveCodeBench, and 63.2% on SWE-bench Verified. It is available via Arcee AI's API at $0.90 per million output tokens and on OpenRouter, with weights published on Hugging Face as part of Arcee's permissive open-weights mission.
