Arsan's tunnel segment gaskets are developed with elastomer technology by the company's specialist technical staff. The gaskets install easily, protect the segment joint during assembly and against ground movements, and resist chemical and microbiological factors over a long service life.
Gasket selection focuses on hydrostatic pressure and gasket channel width in the concrete segment joint. Arsan's engineers design profiles to project requirements and customer needs, simulate them before series production, and run tests covering hardness, tensile strength, elongation, deformation, ozone resistance, ageing, restorative capacity, and watertightness under water pressures above actual site values. Product types include standard, anchored, hybrid, and co-extruded gaskets.
