Autonomous Marine Systems

Autonomous Marine Systems (AMS) was founded with the core mission of delivering real-time ocean intelligence through the use of patented, low-cost robotic sailboats. Their vision is to revolutionize marine data collection by deploying fleets of unmanned, wind and solar-powered vessels that provide continuous, accurate, and cost-effective ocean monitoring. AMS offers a versatile platform known as DATAMARAN, which is designed for various marine survey applications including ocean surveys and networked fleets. The company focuses on providing sophisticated navigation and control software, ensuring stability and large payload capacities for comprehensive data collection.

Notable affiliated individuals and investors have yet to be publicly detailed, but AMS has achieved significant milestones with its innovative technology. The patented design of their unmanned sailboats, which are capable of self-deployment and frequent updates to shore operations, has positioned AMS as a leader in the marine data industry. Their impact is evident in the enhanced capabilities for real-time ocean intelligence, contributing to better-informed decisions in marine research, environmental monitoring, and maritime operations.
