Betterdata uses synthetic data to keep real data safe
Singapore-based Betterdata raises $1.55 million in an oversubscribed seed round led by Investible, with participation from Franklin Templeton and other investors. It develops programmable synthetic data using generative AI and privacy engineering to create datasets that retain real data’s structure without exposing sensitive information. The company plans to use the proceeds to launch its product, expand support for single-table, multi-table and time-series data, hire sales and marketing staff, and grow across Asia-Pacific.
